Village
Near Stara Zagora & Kazanlak
and
Black Sea Coast Apartments

______________________________________________________________
Introduction

The
Stara Zagora region and Kazanlak
area are rich in history and cultural attractions as well as offering
beautiful scenery and many sporting facilities and mineral spa resorts.
You can visit Roman ruins, Neolithic houses, Shipka Monument and
Thracian King Tombs, or walk or cycle the numerous mountain trails, go
fishing, sailing and wind-surfing in the summer and skiing in the
winter. You can visit Stara Zagora Mineral spa resort, Yagoda mineral
spa pool or Pavel Banya for massages, treatments and soak in the
mineral pools, world renowned for their healing properties.
TheRentalBug offers a
couple of Bulgarian houses for holiday lets during the summer months
and now an apartment on the Black Sea coast. By
staying in a fully renovated
Bulgarian village house you get all the creature comforts of home and
modern living but at the same time can experience life in a typical
Bulgarian village; watch the goats wander home early evening, BBQs on
peaceful summer nights and generally unwind and get away from it all.
Yet you are still only a 15 to 20 minutes drive from Stara Zagora city
centre with all amenities like large supermarkets, numerous
restaurants, Opera house, museums, fitness centres and so on and 15
minutes from Kazanlak and the Valley of the Roses and Thracian King
Tombs.
The village
where these Bulgarian
rental properties are has a couple of shops selling the basics, a
small bar and local restaurant. The villagers are lovely and friendly
and it is not unusual for them to give you a gift of a cabbage or
tomatoes or fruit from their garden. Or maybe some homemade wine or
Rakia.
In
the summer, you can spend your days
around one of the many mineral spa pools close by, having BBQs, walking
and cycling in the mountains and visiting Lake Koprinka, fishing,
sailing and more. Within half an hour's drive you can visit the
Neolithic houses and museum in Stara Zagora (some of the oldest
dwellings in Europe), take a private tour of the Thracian tombs around
Kazanlak, have fun at the water park, relax by the mineral spa pools in
Yagoda or just pass the time sampling local dishes in cosy
little Mehanas
(restaurants).
The
area is ideal for artists and photographers - take the chair lift up to
the top of the Blue Mountains
at Sliven and wander amongst the many flauna and forna up there, visit
the lovely municipality town of Magleesh and see the traditional rug
washing area and wander up the waterfall.
The
Stara Zagora region is relatively
undiscovered by tourists, despite the wealth of historical and cultural
attractions and the fantastic scenery of the Balkans and Sredna Gora
mountains close by. Why not experience a different kind of holiday and
a different area of Bulgaria, away from the noise, over development and
over crowded places like Sunny Beach, Golden Sands or Bansko. Days
trips to Plovdiv, Veliko Turnovo or Burgas or Sofia are all easily
possible from here by car or coach or train.
And
now we can offer a lovely studio apartment sleeping 2 to 3 on a
fabulous complex just 6km from Sunny Beach. There are 6 swimming pools
and a regular bus to the beach.
Why
not combine your rural Bulgarian holiday with a week at the seaside -
spend a few days in the countryside and a few days at the
beach. Or if you are looking for somewhere to stay for a few weeks or
couple of months over the summer then we can offer furnished, renovated
houses for 250 Euros a month including bills (water and electric -
internet extra).
If
you do not wish to hire a car we can arrange an airport pick up or you
can jump on the coach or train and we will pick you up from the
station.

Please
note that all accommodation is
NON-smoking. Smokers are welcome but must smoke outside only. Pets are
not a problem so long as house trained and do not dig up
garden.
