100 Year Old Traditional House For Rent Close to City
This old house has real character and is in a lovely quiet village just 15 minutes drive from Stara Zagora and 10 minutes drive from Nova Zagora. The village is just off the main road from Stara Zagora through to Noza Zagora, that continues to Sliven and through the Burgas. The house has not been renovated and therefore as such offers basic accommodation, but is in good condition over all and offered at a very cheap rent of 160 BGN (around 80 E a month), including utility bills. There is electric and mains water. A telephone and satellite TV could be connected and internet would be possible but installation would have to be at expense of tenant. There is a summer kitchen with a conservatory like kitchen area with a sink and cold water, a dining/living room with old wood fired cooking stove and table and chairs etc and a small storage room the the back.
The main house has 2 good sized bedrooms, one with large fitted wooden closet and the other with small wood burning stove. Both bedrooms are accessed from a lovely wooden balcony over looking the yard and garden.
Under the house there are two large cellar rooms. In the plot, which is around 900sqm there are mature grape vines, many small sheds and barns and plenty of room to grow vegetables. The plot has a wall all the way around apart from one small area, where it has fallen down, but this could easily be repaired.
Access to the house is good on an asphalt road and there is off street parking under a lean too garage. But please note - there is only an outside toilet in one of the barns. There is no indoor bathroom. However you could easily purchase a camping type toilet and place this in the house. RENT: 80 Euros a month including utility bills. Currently rented until early August
