Introduction

The
Stara Zagora region and Kazanlak area are rich in history and cultural
attractions as well as offering beautiful scenery and many sporting
facilities and mineral spa resorts. You can visit Roman ruins,
Neolithic houses, Shipka Monument and Thracian King Tombs, or walk or
cycle the numerous mountain trails, go fishing, sailing and
wind-surfing in the summer and skiing in the winter. You can visit
Stara Zagora Mineral spa resort, Yagoda mineral spa pool or Pavel Banya
for massages, treatments and soak in the mineral pools, world renowned
for their healing properties.
TheRentalBug offers
Bulgarian houses for rent either for short holiday stays or for long
term let. Renting a Bulgarian property for a longer period is a great
way to experience life in Bulgaria prior to committing to buying a
property in Bulgaria. I offer self catering holiday properties in
Bulgaria and long term let in Bulgaria.
By
staying in a fully renovated Bulgarian village house you get all the
creature comforts of home and modern living but at the same time can
experience life in a typical Bulgarian village; watch the goats wander
home early evening, BBQs on peaceful summer nights, sit round the open
fire or wood burning stove (Pechka) in the winter and generally unwind
and get away from it all. Yet you are still only a 15 to 20 minutes
drive from Stara Zagora city centre with all amenities like large
supermarkets, numerous restaurants, Opera house, museums, fitness
centres and so on and 15 minutes from Kazanlak and the Valley of the
Roses and Thracian King Tombs.
I can offer
apartments for rent in Bulgaria in a renovated Bulgarian village house,
a four bedroom Bulgarian village house or a self catering holiday
property in Bulgaria.
The
village where these Bulgarian rental properties are has a couple of
shops selling the basics, a small bar and local restaurant. The
villagers are lovely and friendly and it is not unusual for them to
give you a gift of a cabbage or tomatoes or fruit from their garden. Or
maybe some homemade wine or Rakia.
In
the summer, you can spend your days around one of the many mineral spa
pools close by, having BBQs, walking and cycling in the mountains and
visiting Lake Koprinka. In the winter, you can go for a days skiing or
snowboarding on the local slopes at Buzludzha, visit museums and pass
time sampling local dishes in cosy little Mehanas
(restaurants).
I offer short stays in a lovely little
2 bedroom cottage with a separate guest annex (great for 2 or 3 couples
or a larger family). Come for 3 or 4 days or a week or two and enjoy
sitting out in the sun, walking, swimming, fishing or exploring the
many tourist attractions and historical sights round about. The
property is renovated to a high standard and made to feel homely.
All bedding and towels are provided as well as the basics such as
bread, jam, tea bags, coffee, milk, sugar etc. And we are on hand close
by to recommend local restaurants, places to go and help you settle in.
Or
for those thinking of moving to Bulgaria I offer a number of longer
term letting options so that you can get a true feel for Bulgaria and
make sure you are making the right decision for you. Furnished and
unfurnished properties are available and pets are no problem.
The
Stara Zagora region is relatively undiscovered by tourists, despite the
wealth of historical and cultural attractions and the fantastic scenery
of the Balkans and Sredna Gora mountains close by. Why not experience a
different kind of holiday and a different area of Bulgaria, away from
the noise, over development and over crowded places like Sunny Beach,
Golden Sands or Bansko. Days trips to Plovdiv, Veliko Turnovo or Burgas
or Sofia are all easily possible from here by car or coach.
Please

information about the area.
Please
note that all accommodation is NON-smoking. Smokers are welcome but
must smoke outside only.
