I became involved in the Bulgarian property market
back in 2004 when I looked to purchase a new build apartment in Bansko.
Luckily for me, due to many problems with the developer and agent, I
pulled out of the deal and after much wrangling and fighting, got my
money back. I went on to purchase a portfolio of rural houses (now
totally 11 houses and 1 plot of land) and have renovated 2 of these and
had a new house built from scratch.
I now live and work here, near Stara Zagora and so
can help you purchase property in the area through a couple of local
agents and also through houses that I have listed for sale with me
privately from the owners.

Very Cheap House in Pretty Area
This house is in the beautiful Sakar Mountains, 25 km
from local admin centre Galabovo, 50 km from Svilengrad, 70 km from Stara
Zagora and Burgas and Plovdiv with their international airports are 2
hours drive away.

Character House in Small Quiet Mountain Village
This 2 storey house has lots of character and could be
turned into a pretty 2 bedroom house. It comprises of 2 rooms on the lower
floor (one currently a basement type room with fireplace) and then there
are external stone steps to the second floor and a small hall with 2
bedrooms and a smaller room, accessed through one of the bedrooms. One

from Stara Zagora and 15km from Chirpan. The village is situated just off
the main Chirpan to Stara Zagora road and the new motorway is only 5
minutes away and runs from Sofia eventually through to Burgas.
