I became involved in the Bulgarian property market back in 2004 when I looked to purchase a new build apartment in Bansko. Luckily for me, due to many problems with the developer and agent, I pulled out of the deal and after much wrangling and fighting, got my money back. I went on to purchase a portfolio of rural houses (now totally 11 houses and 1 plot of land) and have renovated 2 of these and had a new house built from scratch.

I now live and work here, near Stara Zagora and so can help you purchase property in the area through a couple of local agents and also through houses that I have listed for sale with me privately from the owners.

This house is in the beautiful Sakar Mountains, 25 km from local admin centre Galabovo, 50 km from Svilengrad, 70 km from Stara Zagora and Burgas and Plovdiv with their international airports are 2 hours drive away.

This 2-bedroom house for sale is situated in the village of Opan near Stara Zagora. It is only 24 km away from Stara Zagora and 30 km from Dimitrovgrad.

Character House in Small Quiet Mountain Village

This 2 storey house has lots of character and could be turned into a pretty 2 bedroom house.
